The Trocadéro Gardens

Designed for the 1878 World's Fair, they stretched out in front of a Spanish-Moorish palace that was destroyed to build Chaillot in 1937. From its paths and slopes, much appreciated by walkers and skaters alike, there is a magnificent view of the Eiffel Tower... In summer, Parisians like to cool off around the famous Warsaw Fountain (1937), which includes a large central basin dominated by a series of cascading pools and regularly enlivened by the great waters distilled by 20 water cannons.
